Many of the Dividend paying Companies send their announcements in and around the same time every year. Though it is not a must, they keep upto the dates most of the time AND not all of the time.

JKH announced on the 29th of January 2016 a dividend of Rs. 1/= per share.
TJL announced on the 2nd of February 2016 a dividend of =/60 per share.

CTCE will be going xd on the 30th of this month. the dividend is 48/= per share.
